KATIE's Story...
Hi my name is Katie! HNH rescued me on my very last day at the shelter. I am approx 1 year old and I love to play. My foster Mom is training me to walk on leash as well as learn my basic commands. I am a very quick learner and eager to please my people. I would love to have an active family I enjoy hiking/jogging and playing tug-a-war with other dogs. Katie would love to have her forever that is active and has a large yard. She is spayed, current on vaccines and micro-chipped. Contact Lorna at Lorna@hopenheroes.com. She is currently being fostered in Chatsworth, Ca. Adoption/Donation fee and Home inspection required. IF YOU RENT we require a written letter from your landlord that you are allowed to have a large breed dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

KATIE, a Torrance Dutch Shepherd/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dutch Shepherd/Labrador Retriever for sale in Torrance, or seeking a Dutch Shepherd/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Torrance.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Torrance already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Torrance breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dutch Shepherd/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Dutch Shepherd/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Torrance paves the way for another one to be saved.
