If you are interested in adopting, please take the first step and complete an Adoption Application located at

The submission of a completed Application is not a guarantee to adopting the pet and that all applications are processed thoroughly and if approved a home visit/”meet and greet” will be scheduled. If home check is approved and "meet and greet" with all pets involved goes well the Adoption Committee will decide final approval based on all applications received as to which one is the very best fit for the individual dog/cat. Our goal is to find the right match of our dogs to their new family so all involved are “furever” happy!

All Dogs Unlimited Rescue dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on all shots, and are given a monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Upon adoption, all vet records and any current medications are provided to the adopter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rusty, a Cleveland Havana Brown cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Havana Brown for sale in Cleveland, or seeking a Havana Brown cat from a breeder in Cleveland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cleveland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cleveland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Havana Brown breeders who help with Havana Brown rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cleveland paves the way for another one to be saved.
