Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Foster or Adoptive Home Needed
Special Needs Kitty
Prince, 7 year old Male Maine Coon.
Prince loves being scratched and rolls over on his back when the right spot is scratched. He loves sitting on the cat tree watching out the window. Prince has some of the softest fur his caretaker has ever touched. And he is very handsome long haired grey and white cat with a salmon colored nose. However, Prince is FIV positive. He is in good health despite this.

COURTESY POST
Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is helping facilitate the placement of this cat. We take no responsibility for the cat's health and medical records. It is the responsibility of the owner and adopter/foster to discuss this.
Prince's life has not always been easy, but he was a lucky boy when he came to his caretaker's home. She started feeding Prince when she started noticing him hanging around her yard with a noticeable limp. She thinks he must have been hit by a car and she was afraid he would not be able to feed himself. Prince had probably lived a lot of his life outside but his caretaker could see what a sweet deposition he had so she trapped him and had him neutered. As he came to depend on her more and more over the next couple of months, she moved him indoors. As she says, "He has been a Prince."
However, Prince is FIV positive. He is in good health despite this. So what does this mean to his future? Go to http://www.vet.cornell.edu/fhc/brochures/fiv.html to find out more information. Cats can live long lives if cared for properly.
Prince has some of the softest fur his caretaker has ever touched. and he is very handsome. He's a long haired grey and white boy with a salmon colored nose. At home Prince always uses his litter box and gets along well with his caretakers cats and very large puppy. He is not much of a lap kitty but is coming around, but is allowing being picked up and being held. Prince loves being scratched and rolls over on his back when the right spot is scratched. He also loves sitting on the cat tree watching out the window.
Unfortunately, he is being re-homed because his caretaker's male cat marks his territory with Prince around and the caretaker is moving and can only have so many cats. Prince's caretaker feels Prince will worship his new owner. He will be eternally grateful and become your best friend. Prince is a bit shy around new people but once he trusts you he is so sweet. He is a wonderful soul and deserves a good home.
Prince will come to you neutered and current on vaccinations. He is FIV positive but is in good health.
