Gizmo's Story...
Gizmo is a hoot and a half! He is a crazy, silly, loving, and above all fun little guy to be around! Saying Gizmo loves to play is somewhat on an understatement...saying Gizmo LOVES to play with enthusiasm and gusto unmatched by any other feline comes a bit closer! Gizmo loves playing with balls, playing with your hair, and playing with pretty much anything he can get his furry little paws on! Gizmo's favorite toy, paws down, are wand toys. Gizmo FLIES through the air and does the most amazing and most contorted flips you've ever seen while he's engaged in mission "Capture and Subdue Wand Toy". Sometimes you'll even hear Gizmo growling at the wand toy!

When Gizmo's not distracted by an object he's trying to capture, he is incredibly sweet. He will rub your face or gently head butt you to ask for attention. Gizmo will purr like crazy when you're petting him, especially if that petting includes chin scratches. Gizmo loves to talk and holds nothing back during your conversations, confiding everything on his mind and in his heart.

Gizmo does just fine with other friendly kitties. With his easygoing nature, Gizmo should do well in just about any type of home. Of course, it goes without saying that a house without a wand toy is not a home, so better stock up before bringing Gizmo home! To learn more - www.azrescue.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gizmo, a Phoenix Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
