Pumpkin's Story...
Meet Pumpkin! She is a 3-4 month old shepherd mix. She has a really friendly disposition and is very
playful. Pumpkin is doing very well with house training, and she gets along well with the cats and three
other dogs in her foster home. She is starting to really love running around after the dogs when they play
in the yard. She also seems to do very well with children. She does bark but not excessively. Pumpkin is
working on being crate trained. Overall, she is a really sweet girl and she doesn't let her bowed legs stop
her from having fun. You can tell when she gets tired because her legs start to shake a little but hopefully
she overcomes and outgrows that. Pumpkin will make a great fit in any kind of home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pumpkin, a Hanover German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Hanover, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Hanover.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hanover already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hanover breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hanover paves the way for another one to be saved.
