STAR & SILVER MIST's Story...
Meet Star & Silver Mist, two 3 month old, spayed best friends.Star is the pretty Calico kitten who is gentle, sweet, a little shy, very calm and affectionate. She has the most beautiful golden eyes which match the golden tan on her fur and she is a “lover” and a “purr-er”. Her purr starts the minute you acknowledge her and the more attention she receives the louder she purrs! She likes to cuddle, she is good with all ages but has shown a slight partiality to men. Silver Mist is the beautiful Dilute Calico,who will be your best friend once she gets to know you. She loves to eat, is the more vocal of the 2 and is more high energy than “Star”. She likes to be on a lap but does not especially like to be picked up and held unless it’s on her terms. She’s been exposed to all ages and does well with all.These are 2 special kittens who will give their new owner(s) years and years of love, affection and fun. Please come to Petsmart in Mantua to adopt both girls, they will be lost without each other.

About Our Shelter...
The Gloucester County Animal Shelter functions as an impoundment/adoption facility which temporarily houses lost,stray,unwanted or abandoned pets for 24 municipalities until such time as they are reclaimed by their owner,or adopted by a new owner.The Shelter also provides a 24-hour emergency service for calls regarding animals that are sick,injured or posing an immediate threat to the public.We also have an offsite adoption centers at the PetSmart stores located in Mantua & Turnersville which house over 20 cats for adoption.We have a very dedicated staff and volunteer core and work very hard to see that these homeless pets are given a second chance and placed in a proper homes.Once adopted they are delivered to one of our veterinarians to be spayed and neutered prior to going into their new home to insure that the animal cannot reproduce and at this time we are at 100% compliance.
