Romeo-Adopted!'s Story...
Romeo is a victim of bad circumstances. He was taken in by a young girl as a puppy who wasn't able to care for him anymore. A family member contacted our rescue for help in finding him a new family. Romeo weighs about 60 pounds and does well with most other dogs and does fine around children. Romeo was recently placed in a new foster home where he is doing very well and will get retrained in learning his basic manners. He is much happier now living with people and getting the attention and love he deserves. Birth date 4/1/11

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Romeo-Adopted!, a Detroit American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Detroit, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Detroit.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Detroit already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Detroit breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Detroit paves the way for another one to be saved.
