Brando-Adopted!'s Story...
Brando was living at a home where they kept him outside alone most of the time. Luckily, he was rescued by a volunteer who promised to find him a loving home. As a Retriever mix, he is a social dog that loves to be around people. Brando is very sweet and well behaved. He loves to go for daily walks and enjoys playing fetch, especially with his beloved tennis balls. Brando knows basic commands and will make a great new family member. He does need a home without young children or small animals. Although he does get along with dogs his own size, we think he would be happy as the only dog in the home, too. Birth date 6/24/12

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brando-Adopted!, a Detroit Dutch Shepherd/American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dutch Shepherd/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Detroit, or seeking a Dutch Shepherd/American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Detroit.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Detroit already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Detroit breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dutch Shepherd/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Dutch Shepherd/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Detroit paves the way for another one to be saved.
