Col. Mustard's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Col. Mustard's Story...
Shadow (aka Col. Mustard), is a purebred, 3 1/2 year old, solid black, neutered male Labrador. This very handsome boy with his shiny coat is so sweet and has been such a great dog in his foster home. He is also a smaller Lab, only about 50 lbs and is full grown.

Col. Mustard is a very friendly dog to all he meets. He gets along great with other dogs, adults and children. He is not one of those hyper Labs as he is now out of the puppy stage - the perfect time to get a Lab! He knows his obedience commands like 'sit', 'stay', and 'shake', is pretty good on leash, and is not a barker nor does he jump up on you. The best thing about Shadow, he is not a chewer! His foster home says he's been a great dog and that whoever gets him will be very lucky.

If you are interested in meeting/adopting Shadow, please go to and fill out the online application first. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Col. Mustard, a Provo Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Provo, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Provo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Provo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Provo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Provo paves the way for another one to be saved.
