Precious's Story...

Precious was rescued at 4 weeks old by a very kind lady who was caring for her and her feral mother. She’s was born approx. 4/5/11, black & white with a very nice tuxedo pattern and a cute, fat, round face and black nose.

She is extremely playful and friendly, loves to be petted, and picked up. She’ll act like she’s protesting when you hold her, but in between meows, she’s purring her head off. Can’t mind too much..... She is a very “big presence” in a home, and likes to spend a lot of time close to her people – sharing beds, waiting outside the shower (she likes to play with water), etc... She loves all kinds of toys and chasing “flying” toys will drive her into a frenzy.

Precious has two siblings, Zorro and Blackie, who she is very close to (particularly her sister) and has lived with all her life. She likes other cats (would do well in a multi-cat home), and if you’re considering adopting two, one of her siblings would be an ideal match. She also likes Raquel a lot. She may have a bit of separation anxiety if adopted by herself, but cats are very adaptable and she’ll likely adjust just fine.

She’s a kitty who bears some watching – perhaps a squirt when she tried to get up on the table. She’s still very kitten-like and likes to find things to get into and play with. She doesn’t mind strangers, but dogs make her a bit nervous. She might do OK with a very calm, gentle dog, it would just take her a bit of time to get used to it.

Come see me at Petco, 6300 San Mateo NE at San Mateo/Academy Saturdays and Sundays from 11am-5pm.
When you do bring me home, make a 'safe' room for me while I get used to the smells and sounds of my new home.  I'll adjust better this way!  This will also give me a 'safe' place to go if I get scared.
Please call FAT KATZ, 505-293-2830 or email FatKatzAbq@Gmail.com for more info or questions!  You can also inquire about fostering cats because we always need fosters!  The number fosters we have determines how many kitties we can help!
