My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our little MISTY has come quite a long way since first joining us at GLWR. Her skin has improved and turned pinker, her hair is growing in nicely, and she finally had enough of it to warrant a grooming appointment!! She looks pretty snazzy now and is looking for her forever home. Misty is 4 years old, spayed and current on all shots. She is house trained, but needs to be crated when you are not at home. Misty does well with other dogs, but may try to be pushy. She thinks cats would make great squeak toys, so we recommend a home without cats for her. Misty is a happy lap dog, but also has a lot of energy and be a good walking companion. Misty is quite small, as Westies go, weighing in at 13 pounds on her last vet visit. Is your home the right one for Misty??

If you would like more information on MISTY please contact GLWR at westierescue@mchsi.com. Please familiarize yourself with the Westie breed to be certain these terriers are a good match for your family. Adopters should understand that our Westies will need an adjustment period to settle into their new home. GLWR, Inc. requires a completed application (available online at www.greatlakeswestierescue.org), personal references, a vet reference, and a home visit. GLWR is an all-volunteer non-profit corporation, an adoption donation of $300.00 helps support our rescue program. Be sure to visit us on Facebook!
