My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shorts is a strange mix, he looks like a lab but is short like a dachshund. It makes for an adorable mix. He has recently been NEUTERED and is up to date on shots, so what more can you ask for. Shorts came into the shelter as a stray, no one came to claim him and he is now looking or a home. He is friendly and playful with people..however, he did not take well at all to another dog being put in the pen with him. It could be that he is just protective of the little pen that he is in and is a territorial thing. It would be suggested that anyone interested in adopting him that has another dog, bring their dog out to the shelter and let them interact in the yard that we have. I think Shorts would be fine with children. Shorts is around 2 years old and weighs 17 lbs. If you could give this little man a home, please contact the shelter asap. NO ADOPTION FEE at WBRP Shelter. All applicants are carefully screened, shelter reserves the right to refuse adoption. Vet references may be asked for. Hit the SHARE button now so Shorts can find a home of his own.
