My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Highway" was found under a good Samaritan's truck. Somehow this brave little girl managed to hang on from Grand Rapids to Rockford, unbeknownst to the driver. When the family went out to their garage later that evening to go somewhere, Terri heard kitten mews. It took over 2 hours of gentle coaxing to get Highway out of the engine where she had scrambled in her panic.

Terri and her husband have two rescued dogs who don't like cats, so although they loved the kitten, keeping her was not an option. Terri asked us for help and then patiently housed and cared for the kitten until we had room to take her. They even brought treats and toys to help her transition to our place. Highway is a lively little girl who likes to talk and be petted. But we think she has had her fill of "road trips"!

All of our kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, vaccinated against Distemper, and treated for fleas and other parasites.

Our adoption center is located at 4600 Knapp NE 49525. Our open adoption hours are every Sunday from 12-2pm and every Thurs 6-8pm. Come on out and meet the love of your life!
