Ideally Brandy and Sherry will soon find a forever home, but their current foster parent will not be able to keep them much longer, so if you can't commit to forever, consider fostering these beautiful, little ladies.
Brandy and Sherry are gorgeous, 6-month old calico sisters who were born in an abandoned bar in Ditmas Park and then survived on the streets for the first months of their life. They have big, sweet eyes and soft, silky fur with vibrant autumn colors of orange, black and white.
Brandy is the more outgoing of the two. She loves attention! She’ll jump on your lap and nuzzle your neck or flop on her back for a belly rub. She purrs like a motorboat. Sherry likes a little more time and space to get to know you, but your patience will be rewarded with her trust and affection.
Sherry and Brandy are a great pair and should stay together. Sherry keeps Brandy entertained when you're not available. It will also be lots of fun for you to watch these energetic little ladies jump, tumble and chase. They LOVE to play. They also adore other cats if you have one or two that need some more friends.
They are both spayed, vaccinated and FIV/FeLV negative. A brief application and modest adoption fee will be required.
Rescue Group Info...
The American Street Cat, Inc's primary focus is on TNR (trap-neuter-return), but the kittens and friendlies found during the rescue effort cannot be ignored. They are brought indoors, well-cared for in a non-shelter environment, and promoted for adoption upon a clean bill of health.
We are a small, new (2011), volunteer-based, non-profit organization, with no paid officers or staff. Any donations (of time and/or money) will be greatly appreciated.
We are committed to minimizing the pet overpopulation problem, thereby minimizing the homelessness of beautiful adoptables such as ours.
By e-mail appointment only. As they arise, adoption events will be announced on our website under Events.
Fees apply, and an adoption contract must be agreed to and signed. A meeting with your potential pet is required.
We like to engage in e-mail or phone correspondence prior to arranging any meetings, and we will send a draft of our contract for review.
The American Street Cat, Inc. (aka TASC) is based in Brooklyn, NY. We adopt out to neighboring boroughs and the tri-state area.
