Blanca's Info...
| Breed: | Domestic Shorthair | Color: | White (Mostly) | Age: | Adult |
| Sex: | Female | Hair: | Short |
I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.
Blanca likes to flirt and talk to you quietly with cute little chirps and squeaks. She likes to rub against your legs and sit next to you and purr. She makes funny faces, like her Billy Idol lip curl. When you walk into the room she will greet you with a voiceless meow and in the same way tell you about her day and ask you for her dinner. She loves to play and will be sitting calmly one minute and racing around the next. She loves to chase anything on the end of a string. She is shaped a bit like a light-bulb, which looks very funny when she runs. Blanca always loves your company --in fact she will purr from across the room just because you are there. She does not jump on counters and she always uses her scratch post. She loves to be pet and have her neck, head and shoulders scratched.
Blanca is 2 - 3 years old. She was rescued living outdoors in Ditmas Park, Brooklyn, pregnant, begging for food, and lonely for love and affection. She is all white except for a dark tabby-striped "tiara" on her forehead and ears, and a dark, tabby-striped tail and one black spot on her rump. She has a beautiful face.
Blanca is FIV+ but requires no special care and is very healthy. FIV has no effect on humans and FIV+ cats make great pets! Watch Blanca play on video at http://youtu.be/rQZhH3CbaCc. More cute pics at https://picasaweb.google.com/117241369464674350169/BlancaSeeksAKindAndLovingFriend#
Blanca is spayed and fully vaccinated. A short application and modest adoption fee are required.

Rescue Group Info...
The American Street Cat, Inc's primary focus is on TNR (trap-neuter-return), but the kittens and friendlies found during the rescue effort cannot be ignored. They are brought indoors, well-cared for in a non-shelter environment, and promoted for adoption upon a clean bill of health.
We are a small, new (2011), volunteer-based, non-profit organization, with no paid officers or staff. Any donations (of time and/or money) will be greatly appreciated.
We are committed to minimizing the pet overpopulation problem, thereby minimizing the homelessness of beautiful adoptables such as ours.
By e-mail appointment only. As they arise, adoption events will be announced on our website under Events.
Fees apply, and an adoption contract must be agreed to and signed. A meeting with your potential pet is required.
We like to engage in e-mail or phone correspondence prior to arranging any meetings, and we will send a draft of our contract for review.
The American Street Cat, Inc. (aka TASC) is based in Brooklyn, NY. We adopt out to neighboring boroughs and the tri-state area.
