About Our Rescue Group...
Thousands of years ago, man domesticated dogs to be our protectors, hunters, herders, guardians, but most of all, our companions. Now, over 4 MILLION Dogs are killed each year. As a result, HOH is dedicated to spaying and neutering of all pets to help end the pet overpopulation epidemic.

Why Should your pet be spayed or neutered?
Spaying and neutering helps dogs and cats live longer, healthier lives.
Spaying and neutering can eliminate or reduce the incidence of a number of health problems that can be very difficult or expensive to treat.
Spaying eliminates the possibility of uterine or ovarian cancer and greatly reduces the incidence of breast cancer, particularly when your pet is spayed before her first estrous cycle.
Neutering eliminates testicular cancer and decreases the incidence of prostate disease.

Who We Are
All dogs adopted from HOH are spayed or neutered prior to release to loving new homes.

Founded in 2008, Helping Orphaned Hounds is an all volunteer, no kill, working on 501(c)3 non-profit organization with two main goals:

Find loving homes for homeless dogs/puppies in the AZ area.
Promote spay/neuter thereby reducing the tragic consequences of pet overpopulation.
