Hello World!
My name is Stevie and I’m a happy, healthy and very loving one year old bichon boy. I’m not quite 9½ pounds (but I’m working on getting a little bit bigger!) and I’ve never met a man, woman, or child that I don’t like. Dad says that I’m the perfect combination of playfulness and loving– and that I create fun wherever I go.
For example, Dad says I have this adorable prance/jump move when I play fetch. If he holds my toy in the air above me I’ll dance on my hind legs or jump on my back legs like a human to get my toy. (I’m really good at getting my toys back too!)
Mom says I love any toy that squeaks, rolls, bounces or flies through the air. As long as I can hold it in my mouth I will fetch anything she’ll throw. I’m just a natural born playboy. (Well I’m a boy and I do like to play!) Of course I don’t need to play all the time. Why if there’s a lap I can curl up on then I’m happy to oblige! Dad says when he’s relaxing in the recliner my doggy foster brother and I climb up and ‘share’ the seat with him. And he also says that at night, if he wakes up for just a minute and we make eye contact, then I come over and give him a big kiss, then go back to my bed and go to sleep! You see I’m really a lover and a snuggler, too.
Mom and Dad agree that I love to ride in the car, take long and short walks, play with toys and….cuddle. Did we mention I like to give and receive affection? Dad says it’s cause I have so much love inside and am so grateful to be a furkid! You see I wasn’t cut out to be ‘on the street.’ I’m too little for that kind of a life!
I’m a pretty mellow guy and I’m also housebroken (no, that is not a typo!) Because I’m such a good boy I get to sleep on the big people’s bed. That’s quite a treat.
What would I like in a forever family? Well, for one thing I would really like to have people I can love, snuggle and play with. I would like a fenced in yard with a lawn, trees, and a furkid brother or sister. And places to walk and rides in the car would make me very happy. My biggest wish, however, is to be in a special home of my very own. So if you are looking for a cute little guy who thrives on attention, is smart, playful, happy, gentle, a sweetheart who has a whole lot of love to share, please ask for me!
