Meow! My name is Rocky
|Breed:||Domestic Shorthair||Color:||Brown Tabby||Age:||Kitten|
I am already neutered, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, and good with cats.
Rocky has definitely had a rocky road so far in his short life. He was found in Brooklyn with a crushed tail that was infested with maggots as can be seen in one of the photos. Even though he must have been in intense pain, he was extremely friendly. The vet was not able to save his tail and had to amputate it. Rocky also tested positive for Feline Leukemia. He has recovered nicely from his surgery and is now living a normal life just like every other kitten. After all he has been through, Rocky deserves a loving home. Due to his feline leukemia, Rocky should either be an only cat or be in a home that has other feline leukemia positive cats. Please consider giving Rocky a home that can make up for all the bad he experienced so early in life. Rocky is available for adoption or fostering-to-adopt. Please contact if you would like to meet Rocky.

Rescue Group Info...
KittyKaretakers is a 501(c)(3) non profit which rescues cats & kittens in the Queens & Brooklyn areas of NYC and finds loving & caring forever homes for them. We are a completely foster-home based network; we have no shelter of our own. We intimately know the personalities of all our furry felines so that we can make the best match for your lifestyle!
We do many adoption events at various locales, please contact for further information or follow us on Facebook where we usually post our current adoption event locations & times! Currently we are regularly showing at PS9 Pets 169 N 9th Street in Williamsburg on Saturdays from 12-7PM and on Sundays in Park Slope at 135 7th Ave from 12-5PM.
All animals have been tested & vaccinated. All animals have also been fixed unless too young in which case we will arrange for this when they are old enough. There is an application and a small re-homing fee (to cover vet expenses) to adopt. Many of our cats are also available to foster until they find their forever homes! We also allow people to foster-to-adopt so they can give it a trial run, free of charge, for a couple of weeks before they finalize an adoption. If an adoption, for any reason, does not work out, we ALWAYS take the cat back. Contact us to get more information!
