Pippa's Story...
Pippa came to us with William, Harry, and Prince from a badly overcrowded living situation It was so crowded, the caretaker never noticed that Pippa's tail was broken! She arrived here with only a stub which the veterinarian had to amputate. Pippa came through the surgery fine, and her fur is growing back, but her tail never will. This lovely little girl is made even more so by her beautiful blue eyes. If you are looking for a lovely, and lively, little female cat, call us at 775 423-8650 to meet Pippa. Pippa will be going to the vet in early January to be spayed and then can go home with you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pippa, a Fallon Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Fallon, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Fallon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fallon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fallon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fallon paves the way for another one to be saved.
