I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

He is a purebred Mastiff pup, about 9 months old and already weighs in at 90lbs! He is a good dog, but because he has grown so quickly, he has some hip issues which require medication. The owner could not afford to pay for the medication and did not want to take on any additional veterinary bills for the future, she has two other dogs already. We have X-Rays and have him on a medication regimen. He is responding extremely well. It is hopeful that as he grows into his body at a more natural pace that his problem will resolve. He is housetrained, trained on the invisible fence, good on a leash, but does pull at times. He is good in a car, and is a friendly dog. Because of his hip issues we would recommend no other dogs in the home who might play rough with him and potentially hurt him. He is fixed, up to date on shots and microchipped.

We are a rescue, focusing a great deal of our work on training therapy dogs for veterans. All donations go to feeding, housing, veterinary and training costs so that our military members are able to have a therapy dog with no cost to themselves. Our dogs also assist abused and neglected children in testifying in Court, therapy situations and adoptions.
If interested in a dog, please send an email to our rescue. We will then send an application and contract to the adopter. If approved, a time will be scheduled for a home visit and to meet the dog.
