Opie's Story...
Opie was on the county list to be put to sleep because he had a doggie cold. He is a 1 year old neutered, up to date on vaccinations , Dachshund/Chihuahua mix. Beautiful brown/red smooth coat, medium sized dog. He is a funny guy with lots of personality. Does well with potty training and using a doggie door. Crate trained at night. Gets along well with other dogs, playful, likes attention. Would be great for an active family and/or someone who is home alot.

ARF (Animal Rescue Friends) is a foster based rescue. We are committed to do what we can to help save the lives of dogs that may be put to sleep. We will not over-extend ourselves and take on more then we have fosters for. We also will not board dogs. We are also in the process of getting our 501c3.

Our Adoption Process...
If interested in adopting; please fill out an Adoption Application located on our website animalrescuefriends.org. Once approved for the adoption there is an Adoption Contract that will be filled out. Our adoption donation fees depend on the dog (usually between $160 - $250) and we are cash only. Most importantly is that we want to find the perfect home for our dogs!
