Denali's Story...
*Courtesy Posting* Please contact owner directly at 276-229-9096. Denali is located in Southwestern Virginia.
Denali is about 2 years old and weighs about 65 lbs. As is typical with most northern breeds, he cannot live with cats. Definitely a secure fenced yard is required or he can be kept inside and walked on leash. It's possible Denali could live with a female about his size; he cannot live with a male dog or small pets of either gender. Reliably housetrained, Denali can be left alone for several hours.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Denali, a Augusta County Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Augusta County, or seeking a Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Augusta County.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Augusta County already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Augusta County breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Augusta County paves the way for another one to be saved.
