Copper's Story...
Copper is a 9 week old (born abt 9.28.12) Shar Pei/Schnauzer/Terrier mix who is Lover Extreme. Copper just wants to be held and cuddled. He will follow you to the ends of the earth and sit patiently at your feet waiting for you to pick him up and carry him further. He can play a little rough at times but with patience and consistence in showing him the proper way to play by giving him a dog toy he can be trained to direct his nibbles to more appropriate items just like any other growing puppy.

Adoption fee for Copper is $150. He is neutered and has had age appropriate shots. For an application or more information, please contact Laura at laura.k9s4me@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Copper, a Overland Park Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Shar Pei puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Shar Pei for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Shar Pei puppy from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Shar Pei breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Shar Pei rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
