My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chief is a year and half year old with an intelligent, fun loving personality. He is the perfect mixture of puppy energy and adult cuddles. In his first year of life he was given little direction, discipline, or attention, all things he has caught up on at his current foster home. He has completed and achieved a certificate in Mind your Manners 101 (basic obedience) through Training Buddies LLC. He also attends socialization training at Better Life Canine Center which he continues to excel in. He is very active and would make a phenomenal companion for anyone who lives an active life style and enjoys running, walking, biking, hiking, ect. He loves running laps in a fenced in back yard, playing with his Wiemaraner brother Bo, and weekly play-date buddies. He’s extremely smart, quick learner and knows ALL basic commands including: sit, lay-down, come, stay, shake, cage, and a few others (fun ones) like bang and high five. He still gets very excited around guests and greets them with unlimited kisses. He is working hard on holding back his tendency to jump. Chief is not aggressive when eating, taking treats, or chewing bones. With the proper introduction he gets along with other dogs and loves to play.

Chief is potty trained, can be left alone for up to 8 hours at home out of a crate, and fine in a crate. He would absolutely love and be so thankful if his forever home had another dog that loved to play with him. He is a huge cuddlier and at the end of the day he loves to cuddle up with you and fall asleep.

Chief is a loyal best friend who is eager to please and just requires the exercise, discipline, love, and affection that he deserves. We prefer that he goes to a home without small children as he continues to work on controlling his excitement. Chief weighs about 60 pounds. Birth date 11/11 (734) 645-4224
