Neron's Story...
Hi
I am Neron and I used to be a Street Dog in Costa Rica. I suffered abuse and I escaped but got hit by a car and got wounded really bad. My right rear leg was in really bad shape and I could even see the bone. I was dying alone and I was just a puppy.
I managed to drag myself to a nearby school and hid in a bathroom. Soon kids came in and felt really bad about what had happened to me so they alerted teachers and pretty soon i was at the vet. The folks at Rescate Animal took care of me. Surgery was necessary and they said I would loose my rear right leg but I was going to be ok.
I dont really notice my leg missing since i can run as fast as before and I everyone thinks I was really really lucky. The kids at the school helped me by raising money for my surgery.
Then I went to a foster home and recovered fully. I am super smart and playful, sweet and ready for my family.
After the ordeal I went through, I know there is someone really special waiting for me! I am very grateful and ready for my forever home

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Neron, a Berkeley Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Dalmatian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Dalmatian for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Dalmatian dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Dalmatian breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Dalmatian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
