Lola's Story...
Lola is about 12 weeks old. She was part of a wild litter, but her family was trapped and taken away while she was left behind. Three brave kids of the neighborhood took it upon themselves to catch her and spent enough time with her to calm the wildness out of her. They then took Lola to the local pet store, where a Friends member happens to work, and asked the ladies behind the counter if they could take her in. Unable to resist such a cute face she was taken in immediately.
She is a very sweet and playful girl. She likes being held and doesn't make even a bit of a fuss if stuffed into a jacket for transport. She is eager for a new home and a family to call her own.
She is not spayed yet because of her age. There is a $50 deposit on her that will be returned when her new owners gets her fixed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lola, a Quincy Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Quincy, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Quincy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Quincy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Quincy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Quincy paves the way for another one to be saved.
