Patsy's Story...
My name is Patsy -- I was picked up at a feeding station for cats not too long ago and am I ever glad. My previous owners left me behind to fend for myself and I was a real mess when someone finally noticed me. But now I'm beautiful again and am very grateful for a second chance at getting a real home. I'm great at "cat-talk" and that's why I have this new name -- "Patsy" -- after a famous country singer. I'm still a little scared after my long stint as a throw-away, so I'd really like a home that is reasonably calm so I can concentrate on talking, purring, rubbing, and kneading soft things -- you know, all those little cat talents that we cats so love to share. Please give me a call soon -- I'd love to chat with you and become your furever fur-person.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Patsy, a Walnut Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Walnut, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Walnut.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Walnut already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Walnut breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Walnut paves the way for another one to be saved.
