Bandit's Story...
Bandit was found living under a shredded chair in a vacant lot. Once we discovered him and talked to the neighbors, we found out he had been dumped there and had stayed there for over two months. He had been waiting for someone to come and get him and he was so very happy when we picked him up. He was malnourished, had severely infected bite wounds from stray dog packs that he had to fight for food, and a very painful hernia. He went immediately in for surgery and has made a full recovery in his awesome foster home. Bandit is living in a foster home with six other large breed dogs and he loves every one of them. In fact, he loves everything! This guy does not have a single mean bone in his body. He has more love to give than 1000 dogs! He is about a year old, neutered, micro-chipped, and current on all vaccines. We would love to find him a home with another 4 legged friend as he loves being with the pack in his foster home. He loves to play and will thrive with plenty of exercise and attention. His adoption fee is 200.00. We do recommend a training class and will provide a four week class at Wiggles and Wags in Tempe. If you choose to go to a different training class we will refund 50.00 of his adoption fee once we receive a completion certificate.

About Our Rescue Group...
We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. In July of 2009 we joined together with fellow rescuers on a mission to save a pack of about 30 dogs from the Fort McDowell Casino area and by the end of the year we had rescued over 80 dogs from there! AZ Happy Tails is committed to the rescue and placement of stray, abandoned, and e-listed animals as well. We think all pets deserve caring and compassionate homes, and the chance to live healthy, happy lives in safe environments. We strive to educate and raise awareness of the importance of animal respect and appreciation.
