Hi everybody, my name is RYDER. I have the most adorable face you just want to smoosh and kiss. I get along great with everybody here so far. I haven't given a lick of trouble. I am the sort of boy that can just go with the flow. I don't have too many worries or cares, life is just about having fun and enjoying yourself. I am pretty sweet, I have some manners, just let me know what all your rules are and I think we will make a great pair!

The Columbiana County Dog Pound is a small, rural shelter in eastern Ohio. At one time, only a small percentage of the dogs entering the Pound made it out alive. Now, thanks to the vision of the County Commissioners, the Pound staff, and a dedicated group of volunteers, the Pound has become a source of hope. It is a place where lives are saved, not lost.
Columbiana was one of the first counties in the state to require that all dogs be spayed/neutered before leaving the Pound. This policy addresses the pet overpopulation problem at its source.

Hours:
Monday - Wednesday: 9am to 12pm, 1pm to 4pm
Thursday: 9am to 12pm, 1pm to 4pm
Friday: 9am to 12pm, 1pm to 4pm
Saturday: 9am to 12pm
Sunday: Closed.

The adoption fee is $100, which includes a DHLPP vaccine, a rabies vaccine, de-worming, an Ohio dog license, and spay/neuter surgery. Additional low-cost vet care is available upon request.
Approved rescue groups can pull dogs at reduced fees.
