elle's Story...
Hello I am Elenore but they call me Elle. I am a year old red tri Australian Shepherd. I am a very happy girl and a true aussie, I will follow you anywhere and always be at your side watching you. I am house trained and love to play with people and dogs. I was turned into rescue because i jump a 4 foot fence, i stay around the house but the neighbors kept complaining and my parents were afraid someone would take me. They loved me but want me safe so i am now looking for as new forever home, like the home I had but with a higher fence. I was very much loved and taken care of and for that I am very socialized. I would do well in any family situation with or without another dog. Call Elise if you would like to meet me 816-898-5646 or email barkindogs1@aol.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

elle, a Overland Park Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
