My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Thanksgiving Update:
Turk is having a ball with his foster family. He loves to run and play with the other dogs. He also loves to be petted and have his belly rubbed. Turk is a SWEET, SWEET boy. Whoever adopts Turk will gain a wonderful companion!

We believe that Turk is about 5 (not 14 mths as we were told) and that explains the gray on his muzzle. Turk was abandoned by his owner and we suspect he was enduring a hard life. The local Humane Society rescued him. He was hungry, dirty and flea infested. He is HW negative. He is vetted and neutered.

Turk is very friendly and rides well in the car. He is good with cats and other dogs and seems very laid back. He walks good on a leash despite his excitement of his new surroundings. Turk loves to be petted and close to his humans. He will make an EXCELLENT companion and lap dog.

We are looking for a furever home for Turk. If you are interested in Turk, please email the Tennessee State Coordinator at ssmrmidtn@gmail.com. If you have not yet submitted an Adoption Application, please submit one at http://www.southernstatesmastiffrescue.com, noting Turk's name next to yours as well.
