My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Katie is a delightful, loyal 3 year old red tri Australian Shepherd. She is approximately 45lbs of Velcro, as she keeps her humans in sight at all times! She is living with a foster family of six humans; 2 adults and 4 kids, and loves them all. She stays by your side waiting for an opportunity to work for you or play with you.

Katie is leashed trained, knows how to sit and has good recall skills. She does chores daily with the family and is around horses, cattle, cats and dogs. Katie is a great Aussie that deserves a wonderful home. She requires a forever home that is active and will make sure she gets her daily exercise. When you are moving so will she. She rests quietly at your feet when the family rests- during homework or TV time.

Katie is an Aussie with a warning bark. She will bark at knocks, doorbells, a new person walking in room, and a teenage boy’s loud burp in the other room! She quickly settles down after a check for any incoming dangers and her human’s voice telling her its okay.

Katie is housebroken and crate trained! She has been spayed, microchipped, and is current on her vaccinations and tested negative for heartworm. She has been kept up to date on her monthly preventatives and is ready to find her new, fun filled home! Katie is currently being fostered in Austin, Minnesota.
