Peanut's Story...
Please, use the application provided below this pup's bio.......

date of birth: 10/23/1....Peanut was rescued from a VERY 'high-kill' Animal Control facility in SC. He was shivering and scared, but came to H4S's rep when their eyes met. Very sweet and gentle, reserved at first meeting, then friendly and loving. Gets along with all dogs, cats and children. Walks well on-leash. Devoted companion looking for love and someone warm to snuggle up to.

No past history on this little guy, but he enjoys playtime with the other rescues and evenings on the couch. A really warm little fellow with a need to be with his very own family/person. Is crate-trained.

adoption fee: $295(includes neuter, micro-chip, all vax current>10/23/13, on heart worm and flea/tick prevention, health cert, Martindale collar and transport to MD/PA/NJ/NY area any 4th SAT of ea month...DEC transport=FRI/Dec 21st delivery)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peanut, a Rocky Hill Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Rocky Hill, or seeking a Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Rocky Hill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rocky Hill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rocky Hill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rocky Hill paves the way for another one to be saved.
