Meet Heidi!!
I am a 2.5 yr old, Female Lab. I must be adopted with my brother, LARS (see also on our website, www.underdogaz.com). We are bonded siblings, so we must be adopted together.
Heidi and Lars were abandoned at 8 weeks old and then again by 2 different families due to moves out of state. Needless to say, after a tumultuous couple of years, they deserve a loving FOREVER home.
Both dogs are total sweethearts. They weigh approximately 60 lbs. They adore people and would love for everyone to love them! They are about as loyal as they can be, considering the life they've led in being abandoned multiple times.
They will need to be adopted by a high-energy/active home. Both are good with kids, but they should be 8+ due to our size.
It would be best that we be adopoted into a home with no other pets so we get LOTS of attention, as well as have a home with a backyard and a doggie door.
We are already up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and micro-chipped. Currently we have a great trainer who is working with us and he has offered his services free to our adoptive family (within reasonable travel distance).
We love to play with each other but we have so much love to give to a loving family and we would love to play with older children too. But most of all we just want a forever, loving home.

Underdog Rescue of Az is an all volunteer organization dedicated to the rescuing and re-homing of abandoned and/or abused dogs.
We are a foster-based rescue, and do not maintain a physical base of operations. All of our animals are placed with loving, caring safe foster families until they are adopted. We are also an "All Breed" rescue, and do not discriminate based on breed, age, size, etc.
Underdog's mission also includes educating the public on the issue of animal welfare. We strive to promote shelter reform, spay and neuter education and emergency rescue information & assistance.
We attend multiple adoption events throughout the valley during Spring and Fall.
All potential adopters will be required to complete our Adoption Application, read and sign our Adopting Policies and Procedures, and participate in a home visit by one of our adoption representatives.
Underdog's Adoption Fees are as follows:
Dogs: Puppy - 8 yrs: $150.00
Seniors (8+ years): $125.00
