Other Pets at Shelter...
Nugget is a 1.5 year-old lop eared bunny who loves people-he is an amazingly people-oriented rabbit. His foster mom says whoever adopts him needs to hang out with him the first day of adoption or he will get confused. He will sit and watch tv for hours-literally. He is calm, pleasant, and intelligent. He is calm, curious , and tidy about his litter box. He would make an AWESOME companion for you.
Since OHRR is full, we are doing a courtesy post for Nugget's mom and dad. Please contact us if you would like to come and visit Nugget.
Rescue Group Info...
Ohio House Rabbit Rescue (OHRR) is an organization dedicated to the rescue and adoption of house rabbits and to the education of current and potential pet parents and the general public. OHRR is incorporated in Ohio and is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. OHRR's major goal is to build and maintain a facility to house and serve as an adoption center for rescued rabbits. Educational programs and services for rabbits will also be available at the Center
All of our rabbits live in foster homes. Once the adoption application is submitted, the potential adopter will be contacted and an appointment time will be determined.
We adopt spayed/neutered house rabbits to homes where they will live indoors and be an integral part of the family. All our rabbits are socialized, litter trained, and in good health, unless stated otherwise. We screen all potential adopters. We charge a $40 non refundable adoption fee when the adoption is finalized, and an adoption contract must be signed.
We serve the entire state with emphasis right now on Central Ohio, but we address issues from anyone in the state who contacts us.
