Mary Jane's Story...
Mary Jane lights up our shelter! She's a delight but we figure she won't be around long because some lucky family's going to snatch her up! Mary Jane is an unusual mix of dogs with white Scottish terrier as her main breed. Her dense, wiry hair gives her a bit of a Einstein look. And those ears!!! She has an excellent personality - calm, relaxed, lightly playful and happy, happy, happy! Her tail wags constantly. She'll brighten up your household! Mary Jane was rescued from a local shelter and currently needs heartworm medication (paid for by Homeless Pets). Full recovery is expected and she shows no outward signs of the condition. Heartworm is all too common and is caused by mosquitoes. It's diagnosed by a simple blood test and is avoidable if owners give monthly preventatives. Don't let that little blip cause you to pass over this sweet little dog who'll be your loving and loyal friend for life! Mary Jane's around 3 years young so has many, many more years of fun ahead of her! Email adoptions@homelesspets.com for more info or drop by 1343 Gresham Rd, Marietta 30062 (Mon-Thurs 8-8, Fri 8-3) to meet her! Fax applications (found at homelesspets.com/adoptions) to 770-971-0100.
