Banks's Story...
Hi my name is Banks and I am the coolest Yorkie / Silky Terrier on the planet - don't you agree? I am roughly 2 yrs 9 months old and weigh 11.2 lbs and am looking for my forever home.

I was rescued by Paws 4 Humanity Inc from the Nassau County Animal Services shelter and haven't looked back since. That same day Paws 4 Humanity Inc rescued a 7 year old Jack Russel Terrier mix named Jack and we have become the best of buds. Since we have been with Paws 4 Humanity Inc in our foster home Jack has lost his sight and hearing from old age. It made good sense that since Jack and I ate together, slept in the same room together, played together and hung out together that I would be the seeing eye dog for Jack. When we would go out ot do our business and then play, Jack would follow behind me as my eyes and ears are perfect. Jack relied on me to lead the way. We became even closer.

Well now that Jack is getting older and is slowing down, he gets tired easily and doesn't want to play that much so it's time for me to find my forever home. I have been a good friend to Jack, and now I deserve a good home.

I am a very good boy and am house trained, crate trained and obedience trained and am very good when I walk on a leash. I even know some tricks. I emjoy playing with other small dogs my size, love to play, play, play and play some more, and at the same time love my quality time and snuggle time with my family. The Paws 4 Humanity Inc vet calls me a cutie petutie as I am a very good looking sweet guy.

If you are looking for one of the coolest dogs on the planet as a companion for your family I am your man. If you would like to meet yours truly please contact Paws 4 Humanity Inc at 904 771-9516 or shoot an email request to paws4humanity@att.net to request an adoption application which is the first step in their adoption process. Once your adoption application is approved you will then be able to meet me and discover for yourself just what a handsome, adorable and smart little guy that I really am. My fun loving personality, handsome good looks and my cute factor will undoubtedly pull at your heartsrings where you can't help but want to take me home forever! See you soon! Love and kisses - Banks.
