Puppy-Rat Terrier mix's Story...
A momma dog gave birth to puppies at Noah's Ark on November 3rd. The momma dog (shown in the posted photos) appears to be a rat terrier. We do not know about the poppa. These puppies will be small dogs by looking at the feet. As of January 25, there is one puppy left: male; white with black. He is in a cage with a puppy not from his litter and they are playing together so sweetly and having a ball. Come quick to give him a home. The last photo shown here is the rat terrier pup stealing a kiss from a friendly girl scout.

About Our Shelter...
Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary is a nonprofit organization. It is a no kill shelter that rescues animals from kill shelters, takes in lost, abandoned, or owner surrender animals. Cash donations along with donations of food, flea medicine, and cleaning supplies are the only means of maintaining this safe haven for rescued animals. The organization is staffed by volunteers and one hired hand that are committed to our furry friends. We welcome scouts and other organizations to spend time at our shelter loving and caring for our animals. Release forms are required for minors, but they are welcome.

Hours for adoption are Wednesday through Sunday from 12:00 to 5:00.

Our Adoption Process...
The adoption fee for fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, wormed animals is $150. If the animal is not yet spayed/neutered, a lower fee is available so you can have it done yourself. The contract is a short two pages which can be filled out at the shelter. As we show potential pet adopters the animals we get a feel for their sincerity in adopting a pet. If we feel that the potential adopter is not adopting the pet to love and take care of the pet we reserve the right to refuse an adoption.
