My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Name: Spirit
DOB: ~ 4/1/12
Breed/Color: DSH/Snowshoe
Temperament: Affectionate, Cuddly, Playful, Talkative
Good with Cats: Yes
Good with Dogs: Yes
Good with Kids: Yes

Other: Spirit is an extremely sweet, cuddly, handsome boy. He has a unique snowshoe pattern with light blue eyes. Spirit loves to play with wand toys and cuddle with his foster mom. He is great with dogs, cats, and kids. He doesn't mind being carried around or held like a baby. He has a very sweet and gentle demeanor. Spirit is "special needs" because he has an auto-immune disease called Eosinophilc Granuloma Complex. His condition is triggered by allergies and it is currently being managed with an prescription food ($50 for 8lbs). Although his symptoms are currently under control he will likely require more frequent vet visits throughout his life and may need medications to control his symptoms in the future. Although this may not be the case, we want any potential adopters to be aware of the possibility.

You can read more about Eosinophilic Granuloma Complex here: http://www.marvistavet.com/html/eosinophilic_granuloma.html

Adoption Fees: All of our cats are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated, tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV, given flea/tick & heartworm preventative, & fecal tested (dewormed if needed) before being adopted out. Spirit's adoption fee is $160 including tax; adoptive homes are given all vet records at the adoption.
