I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Teddy Bear's Story...
Teddy Bear was found as a stray here in Coronado.

He is a handsome apricot Wheaten Terrier approximately a year old weighing a trim 17 lbs.

Mr. Teddy Bear’s fur is as soft as fleece, hence the name Teddy Bear. He does not shed, so he would be perfect in a home where allergies are a problem.

This little man could well have been a circus performer, he is so athletic as he springs up off his hind legs.

When you stand in front of him, Teddy Bear will stand up and place his front paws on your legs. And if you back up, he will walk along with you. This guy is a true charmer overflowing with affection for everyone he encounters.

Why bother with a stuffed toy Teddy Bear when you can have a real one in your home for the holidays!

This guy is cut out to be with a family and also gets along just fine with other canines.

You can meet Teddy Bear any day at the Coronado Animal Care Facility between 9:00am and 4:00pm (except holidays).

If you are interested in adopting Teddy Bear, you must first complete a dog adoption application and meet with a PAWS of Coronado Dog Adoption Counselor.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Teddy Bear, a Coronado Wheaten Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Wheaten Terrier for sale in Coronado, or seeking a Wheaten Terrier dog from a breeder in Coronado.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Coronado already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Coronado breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Wheaten Terrier breeders who help with Wheaten Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Coronado paves the way for another one to be saved.
