Crissy was picked up a wonderful family who found out she was tossed out in their relatives neighborhood. Poor Crissy was living in a bush!! They took her home and gave her a nice bath and a much needed grooming session (where they picked out a ton of briars and burrs). They were unable to keep her due to financial reasons so they wanted to find her a great rescue!
Crissy is a 2 year old Yorki-poo who weighs approximately 10lbs. She has beautiful silky, way fur and is a beauty!! She gets along great with other dogs and cats. She plays well with children and is a very quiet, calm girl. She is doing great with housetraining and will normally go to the door when she needs to go potty. She loves to sit by her person and snuggle. If you are looking for a new snuggle buddy, look no farther, Crissy is your girl.
Crissy will be spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, given a fecal exam, dewormer, flea preventative, and microchipped prior to adoption. If you are interested in adopting Crissy, please email bettinav@hotmail.com for an adoption application or with any questions.

Almost Home Inc. is a foster care program that is made up of fosters from Eastern Kentucky. It is an all-volunteer group of caring individuals dedicated to saving companion animals whose lives are in jeopardy. Animals are rescued from a variety of circumstances including abandonment, homeless populations and kill shelters. Volunteers bring these animals into their home for temporary foster care where they receive health care, training and socialization. Almost Home Shelter Pet Rescue is committed to relocate animals to forever homes or no-kill shelters. Through our adoption/evaluation process we do everything possible to place them with families that will love them and understand a pet is a lifetime commitment. We have a mandatory spay/neuter policy and we also provide pet care and training tip for the new families. We also require home visits pre and post of the adoptions.
Fees will vary based on medical treatment. Adoption application must be complete before interview, home visit will be required.
