Rocco's Story...
Rocco – Eyes Like Butter & a Goofy Smile

Rocco is a big beautiful boy with a tough guy name but just watch as he melts at your feet for some love. This tender lug has a John Wayne swagger and is both an athlete and a couch potato. He is made to catch a Frisbee and can jump so high, Michael Jordan would be impressed. Rocco loves playing with his doggie buddies, taking car rides & laying next you on the couch. This dog can do some serious couch time. Rocco loves life, everyone he meets…humans, kids, dogs, cats…everyone. He is mellow and balanced and has such good energy. You can feel your stress melting away as you lock eyes with Rocco and grab some of that velvety fur. Rocco is housetrained, knows basic commands and is oh so smart. He is 12 - 18 months old and weighs 65 pounds.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocco, a Austin Hound (Unknown Type)/American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/American Bulldog for sale in Austin, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/American Bulldog breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
