Pickles's Story...
Hello! I'm MaxFund's Best Little Trooper. I came in need extensive surgery on my hind leg. The great surgeon at Douglas County Animal Hospital took me on and ... SUCCESS! My leg has healed very nicely, and I'm back to my sweet, demure little self. As you can see, I'm a very beautiful girl who can be shy until I get to know you. Once I do, I'm a little snuggly love-bug! My favorite place to be? In a friendly and trust-worthy lap. That's good stuff! Because of my quiet ways, I would do best in an adult home that is fairly quiet and serene. I like other friendly and calm smaller pets, but I certainly wouldn't object to being your one and only! If you would like to meet me, or would like more information, please contact my foster mom at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pickles, a Denver Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Denver, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
