My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Angie is a beautiful golden colored Nova Scotia Duck Tolling/Retriever Mix. She is currently being fostered in a home with three young children (ages 4-7) and loves life in this active family. They are working on house training with her and she’s already picked up that sniffing around the door will get her let outside to do her business. This super smart girl has mastered sitting and she’s currently working on stay and giving paw. At just eight months old, she is ripe for learning and she has already proven that enjoys doing just that as she is already getting used to walking on a lead. Angie loves her treats and will let you remove any items from her mouth (toy or food) with no problems. She loves hanging out with the kids and doesn’t mind if they lay their heads on her even if she is enjoying a tasty bone. Being a puppy, she is very playful and will get bursts of energy and run around the house. In her excitement she will sometimes nip, but never in a hurtful way. It’s just what puppies do until they are taught that it is something better served with toys. Her foster family is teaching her this as well. She is comfortable meeting new people and dogs, and loves a good belly rub. She is up-to-date on her shots, spayed and will be microchipped before adoption.
