Facts about Cora

  • Breed: Pit Bull Terrier Mix
  • Color: Red/Golden/Orange/Chestnut
  • Age: Puppy
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Female
Cora and her brother, Astro, were dropped off at the Bridgeport Animal Control in CT by their “owner.” At six months old, Cora was emaciated and covered in bite wounds. The shelter thought she was only 3 months old because she was so tiny! Now, this “Sweetheart” enjoys hooves and nylabones in the warmth of her foster home as she recovers from her rough start to life. This good-looking, brown beauty loves a good game of fetch, kongs filled with treats and peanut butter, and snuggling into your lap for an afternoon nap.

If you are interested in making Cora one of your family, our application to adopt can be found here:

Our adoption fee for adults is $175 and puppies (6 months and younger) is $250. The adoption fee will be used to defray the costs associated with medical care for our dogs. All dogs in our care will receive spay or neuter surgery, rabies vaccine (4 months and older), DHPP vaccines and microchipping before being placed in their approved adoptive homes.
