Buddy's Story...

Buddy is a sweet boy who is learning to trust the world around him. He spent the first 2 years of his life on a chain, so everything is new to him. Once he knows you're trustworthy, he's a goofy boy who loves to snuggle. He is dog-friendly but would prefer a home with no cats (or dog-savvy cats) as he loves to chase. Buddy's ideal home would be some place he can enjoy a slower paced life, away from the city hustle. He loves to run, so a fenced-in yard would be ideal. He would love to have some older kids (10+) to run and play with. Buddy would also prefer a home with a confident dog to show him the ropes. Buddy is very good about sharing his toys with everyone. He also loves car rides, and enjoys making nose art on the windows and letting the wind blow through his adorable floppy cheeks.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Greensboro American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Greensboro, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Greensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
