Mason's Story...
This little guy is approximately 3-4 months old. He was an owner surrender.
The owners didn't have time for his puppy behavior. He is a busy guy from what they said. When I saw this little guy, he was very scared. It is very easy to see that he is not used to a kennel and would much rather be running in the grass and having fun. He was very calm and wasn't sure about getting his picture taken!!! He is too cute, he has some brindle in him. The shelter and owners are not sure what he is mixed with. He is awfully cute though!!!! He just wanted love and I'm sure he would give it every day to his new owners!!!!

PLEASE call the shelter ASAP to save Mason!!! 502-633-0009

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mason, a Shelbyville Boxer/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Shelbyville, or seeking a Boxer/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Shelbyville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Shelbyville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Shelbyville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Boxer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Shelbyville paves the way for another one to be saved.
