La Nina's Story...
La Nina was accidently found only after we rescued her kittens!

During the terrible storm that hit our region in September, a neighbor found four two-week old kittens in a puddle. She brought them in and came to 4Paws for help with their care. Volunteers knew that the best chance for the kittens to survive was finding the mother cat so they set a trap and caught La Nina.

La Nina has been a wonderful mother. All of the kittens are healthy and ready for adoption. La Nina is a beautiful grey and white domestic shorthair who is very sweet, but timid. (Who could blame her after all she has been through.

She needs a quiet house where she can slowly adjust. She loves to have her face rubbed and her neck and head scratched. She was a very good mommy cat doing her best to save all her kittens during the storm. She has a cute little chirp when she is excited about her wet food and likes to bat and play with play mice.

La Nina is about 2 years old. She is very, very sweet and would make a loving companion. She is not a good choice for a family with small children. La Nina has been spayed, tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV and is current on her vaccines.
