Siouxee-Q's Story...
ON HOLD. Siouxee-Q (pronounce Suzy-Q) is a darling little kitten with beautiful blue eyes and the lynx point markings. She is a little on the shy and is not one that likes to be picked up. She is comfortable with my three dogs, and gets along well with the other kittens and cats. In a more serene environment. I thinkk she will come around and more accepting of human attention. She does not hide, in fact, is always where the action is, so with less feline friends I think she will seek out more human attention. She is extremely beautiful and worth some effort. These pictures do not do her justice. She is between 6 and 7 months old now.

Kittens adopted through FUR will be vaccinated, spayed or neutered, tested for Felv and many of them are microchipped prior to adoption. Typical Kitten adoption donations are $100, cash or cards accepted, sorry no checks. Please visit our website, www.felineundergroundrescue.com for an application and send to mtavenner@roadrunner.com

Rescue Group Info...

About Our Rescue Group...
Feline Underground Rescue was created in order to fill a need in the Inland Empire community that exists because too many unwanted or abandoned cats and kittens are being needlessly euthanized in shelters. We have started this new nonprofit animal rescue group so that we can rescue many of these cats and kittens either directly from the shelters or before they are turned in to a shelter in order to save their lives, provide them the necessary medical care and prepare them for adoption.
Our adoptable cats and kittens will go to their FURever homes having been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, tested for Feline Leukemia, and treated for fleas and worms while being lovingly cared for in a network of foster homes and adoption centers run by volunteers. Potential adopters will be carefully screened via an application process which our Board of Directors will design with certain parameters to adhere to.
Our network of foster families specializes in nursing back to health the sick or underage kitties that often do not get the opportunity to be adopted in shelter situations. Volunteers of all ages and stages of life will be welcomed and trained in the areas they can comfortably provide their services to our organization in order to serve the community.

Our Adoption Process...

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Siouxee-Q, a Winchester Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Winchester, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Winchester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winchester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winchester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winchester paves the way for another one to be saved.
