Wilma's Story...
Wilma is an always happy, energetic, playful, young lady searching for a forever home. Wilma went for an adventure seeking mission from her last home and got lost along the way. Her owners never came to doggy jail to spring her, now she is seeking a new home that will take her on many adventures without the risk of ending back in doggy jail. She is playful and always looking for new friends. She does well with the children in her foster home. She is still puppy mentally and sometimes forgets that barbies and lego’s are not chew toys. She is affectionate and loving and will happily curl up on the couch with you to watch a movie on a cold winter night. She is housetrained with a schedule and crates quietly during the workday. If you are looking for a sweet, smart, playful, affectionate, family dog check out Wilma…..

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wilma, a Cokato Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Cokato, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Cokato.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cokato already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cokato breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cokato paves the way for another one to be saved.
